Our Journey
Eliza-Rosetta Home is a sole proprietorship, owned and managed by Jahtara Hinds-Roachford. Our operations began on January 24th, 2022 with the supply of:
- locally grown, treated bamboo poles
- bamboo fencing/panels construction & installation
- custom-made, artisanal accent pieces made from treated bamboo
- outdoor bamboo structures
- rental pieces: wedding arbors, pergolas
- bamboo leaf & stem tea
Our mission statement is:
“To enlighten and inspire the Barbadian public on the innovative uses of bamboo as a building material together with emphasizing its positive environmental impact”.
Bamboo is an extremely versatile and innovative natural resource and a viable alternative for timber.
We pride ourselves on the quality of work that we produce. Each piece has exceptional attention to detail and is made to last decades. Eliza-Rosetta Home allows each customer to select both custom measurements and styles so that each piece is unique. We understand that everyone has their own tastes so we try to accommodate the wishes of each individual while remaining eco-friendly and sustainable. Since opening, we have expanded our facilities with the addition of our very own bamboo forest. This forest is apart of our workshops, allowing attendees to gain first hand knowledge on the growth cycle of bamboo.
Throughout the years we have successfully supplied and installed our furniture, fencing & outdoor structures to several homes and businesses across the island.
